Registration for the spring 2010 season closed on 2/26/2008 for all ages. Late registrations will no longer be accepted.
Fairfield American Little League is proud to stress a fun, healthy and positive environment for our families. Please download, sign and return the Parents & Players Code of Conduct form to your coach at the beginning of the season.
Coaches: If you are interested in managing or coaching this season, be certain to click the "I want to volunteer" link when you register your child. You should send your "Little League resume" to the appropriate comissioner (see below) for your child's age. All volunteers must submit the Little League adult volunteer form. Mail completed forms to Fairfield American Little League offices, marked ATTN Safety Officer.

The pitch count rule is being changed for 2010. The details below will be changed as soon as we have the new rule.

Uniforms
Every registered player, from 6 years old to 12 years old, should show up at one of the evaluation dates to obtain their official Little League pants. In addition we will selling FFALL Sweatshirts, T-Shirts, Golf Shirts, and hats for parents. Official team hats, shirts, belts and socks will be handed out by their coaches once the teams are formed. Players will keep their uniform.
Evaluations
Evaluations will take place the last weekend in February and the first weekend of March. Details for the 2010 clinics can be found here: Evaluations 2010.
A player who is Little League 9 or 10 and would like to be considered for AAA, must attend one of the evaluation slots. A player who is Little League 11 or 12 and would like to be considered for Majors, must attend one of the evaluation slots. If a player was in the Majors last Spring, they do not need to attend the evaluations.
Other Information
TEAMS will be determined after evaluations. You should hear from your coach by end of March for Majors and AAA; late March for AA and mid April for Sr. / Jr. Cappy and T-Ball. Our opening day this year is April 25th at 11am at Mill Hill Field. Come on out for this fun day and help us celebrate the 2010 baseball season. All players are part of the Opening Day festivities. They should wear their full uniform and be at the field by 10:30 for assembly. The ceremonies will be followed by a game from our Challenger Division and then two Major league games will follow.
Player Drafts will take place in March (dates and time to be determined). Drafts are not open to the public: only managers and their approved coaches may attend.
