Fall Ball Coaches Anyone interested in managing/coaching in the Fall must attend a meeting on August 30th, at 7:30pm in the Team Room at Ludlowe Middle School.

We have a preliminary list of coaches and will be doing some initial team selections. Attendance is mandatory unless you contact me directly.

Fall Ball registration will be open until August 25th

After registering your child, if you would like to coach, please make sure that you click “volunteer” on your child’s registration and notify Kevin Flynn at kj.flynn1@gmail.com. Please be prepared to attend a mandatory meeting on Monday August 30th at 7:30 at Ludlowe Middle School in order to assemble teams, pick schedules and go over guidelines.

Fall Ball is only for returning players

General Fall Ball Information

Fall Ball is designed to accommodate the players who want to work on their fundamentals and play in a much more relaxed atmosphere. There are no standings or playoffs for the non-Majors divisions and coaches are encouraged to give players an opportunity to try new positions and work on their skills and techniques.

The Fall Ball divisions will be divided into 4 groups; Cappy [Primarily Coach Pitch], Minors [AA equivalent], AAA and Majors. The number of teams will be smaller than the spring due to reduced enrollment. The players will be placed on teams shortly after registration ends and will be contacted by your coaches shortly after that. Fall Ball has historically run for approximately 6 to 7 weekends, with games being played on both Saturdays and Sundays. Cappy has usually only been on Saturdays, with the other three divisions playing games on both weekend days. There are no weekday practices. The final schedules will greatly depend on the number of players signed up and coaching volunteers. As soon as we have dates, we will post them on this page.

The season will run from Saturday, Sept 11th and end on Sunday, Oct 24th.

More will be posted in the last week of August when registration has been completed and we have a better idea of the sizes of the divisions.
